    We are currently seeking a tech savvy sales professional to partner with our sales team for presale client partnership. The Solutions Consultant position is an important resource to our field sales team, customers and prospective customers. Solutions Consultants are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the pre-sales and sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key solutions advisor and product advocate for our products. We are looking for a remote employee in Texas. 

     

     

    Responsibilities

    The Solutions Consultant is a Presales professional who can articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and who understands student information systems and special education interventiones.  It is important to understand the customers’ business objectives and to align a solution (existing or new) to meet business, technical and customer timelines.   The Solutions Consultant also understands the various technical challenges of assigned accounts and can provide direction and solutions using both domain and technical expertise. Our goal is complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process, to establish and maintain strong relationships.  Primary responsibilities:
    Execute the design and delivery of engaging solution product demonstrations.  Focus demonstrations on the value to the client and the story of the business problem we solve
    Tailor demonstrations to each prospect based on targeted research
    Assist with leveraging discovery notes from the sales team lead
    Utilize expertise to develop and present solution demonstrations related to the Consultant’s primary product of focus (i.e. Student Services, ERP Business Systems, Special Ed) but also have deep knowledge of all Frontline solutions
    Reliably position the value of the Frontline platform of solutions through consultative visits, meetings and demonstrations
    Effectively represent the product at field events such as conferences and seminars
    Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs, convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
    Assist with Product Management activities, presales assets for the sales organization including develop training and tools for success

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:
    The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a proven track record in software presentations and sales.  We seek a professional who is confident and comfortable in front of an audience and an engaging presenter.  Experience in Student Services applications is required, preferably to K-12 clients.  This role is home-based (remote) and requires travel, at times with limited notice.  We also seek the following competencies and experience: 
    Proficient in domain knowledge of Student Services/Financial software and/or ERP enterprise systems
    Proven track record of excellence in presales using solution sales techniques
    Ability to research public information on accounts, combined with discovery details and work with sales team to craft a personalized selling message
    Craft a demo story to a specific message
    Integrity through proven internal and external relationships
    Dedication to high quality prospect and customer service delivery
    Dedication to working with and communicating in a consultative sales team and support environment that allows for collaboration across service solution business lines
    Superior interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid writing skills
    Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to strategically provide guidance for cross-functional teams with internal opportunity preparation and prospect calls, follow-up with internal staff and management
    Analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive solutions
    Effectively manage pipeline in the CRM tool, as well as the RFP and bid process
