Our unprecedented growth has created new opportunities in our corporate offices in Malvern, PA.  We are currently seeking a Director, Finance to manage the M&A and Treasury areas of our growing Finance team. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to make a direct impact in a fast growth organization. 

Responsibilities

Summary

The Director Finance – M&A and Treasury, will report to the VP Financial Planning & Treasurer in Malvern. The Director is primarily responsible for developing monthly cash flow forecasts and annual cash flow budgets, perform operating plan and forecast variance analysis, review and evaluate potential acquisition targets, and assist in the due diligence process for acquisition targets.  The Director will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management, including helping to prepare presentations, and other projects requested by senior management.  The ideal candidate for this role is highly analytical, possess strong financial modeling skills, can operate in a fast-paced, changing, innovative environment, with outstanding communication skills. Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Manage the cash flow and balance sheet planning process, which is tightly linked to the income statement planning process, including forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis, and projections of cash, debt, leverage and debt capacity
  • Report weekly cash balances, including the inflows and outflows each week
  • Develop and maintain process to forecast short-term cash/liquidity (up to 90-120 days) based on an analysis of historical inflows/outflows and known inflows/outflows
  • Work closely with Accounting and Financial Operations to ensure credit agreement fees and interest are forecast and paid on time, to perform covenant compliance reporting, and to improve A/R collections, DSO, DPO
  • Cash Management and Administration – work with Accounting to oversee bank account administration, manage bank fees, and oversee cash investment activity and policy
  • Manage Senior M&A analyst and together support the SVP of M&A (who reports to CEO) and his team in the research, review and evaluation of potential acquisition targets
  • Assist in the due diligence process for acquisition targets, including financial and operational analysis, interrogation of assets and liabilities, the financial modeling (valuation analysis and preparation of the board financial plan), and reporting to senior management
  • Take a lead role in acquisition post-closing activities, including evaluation of working capital true-ups, earnouts, integration activities, and periodic acquisition performance reviews
  • Provide exceptional financial and analytical support to senior leaders within the organization
  • Help create monthly reporting packages and monthly presentations for the Company’s Board
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required

Qualifications

Required skills

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.  MBA is preferred.  We seek a candidate with at least 10 years’ experience in the areas of responsibilities list above.  Experience in the software or technology industry is a plus.  Experience with a highly recurring revenue business model as well as familiarity with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning are also a plus.  The candidate must have strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint.
