The Systems Engineer will act in support of all enterprise departments via engineered and available infrastructure assets and solutions. They will implement, maintain, evaluate, monitor, revise and improve all critical systems to provide the best possible supporting framework for the business enterprise stability, performance and continuity. They will provide knowledgeable and timely support to the Software release cycle and the Software Development team in CI/CD efforts.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily

  • User account configuration within AD, Exchange, all other applicable user systems
  • Develop and maintain supporting documentation for critical systems
  • Diagnose and correct infrastructure hardware and software problems
  • Configure and Administer data backups and disaster recovery operations as needed
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network/server security measures, as identified by management or policy, in order to protect data, software, and hardware
  • Assist in monitoring the performance of computer systems and networks, and coordinate optimized computer network access and use
  • Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records
  • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
  • Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support for all company CI/CD projects
  • Maintain server and server related documentation to reflect current best practices and policies
  • Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement
  • Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records, EIM

  • Windows Server 2003, 2008, Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy administration
  • Fluency in CentOs, Docker, SaltStack, RabbitMQ, Redis, Node, and similar products
  • SAN and other data storage and management solutions
  • User logon scripts, rights assignments, access control
  • General Networking principles and configuration
  • Data backup/retention hardware and software solutions, both configuration and operation
  • Corporate Antivirus solutions and best practice implementations
  • General server hardening, patch and update processes
  • Effective associated budget, and hardware inventory management
